ANNOUNCEMENTS - 29 OCT TO 4 NOV 2006

Hi all

1. There will be CELL SESSION on 4 November 2006 (Saturday). As our cell will be engaged in the 24/365 prayer that day, all members are required to arrive in Room 214 by 3.50pm to prepare your hearts for an hour of intense prayer. We will start PROMPTLY around 3.55pm and finish around 5.05pm. Please take note that there will be NO toilet breaks during that hour of prayer. In addition, casual chatting is strictly prohibited and anyone caught doing so will be asked to leave the room.

2. CORPORATE PRAYER (NOV 2006) - Our cell will be attending the Corporate Prayer in November 2006. Date is tentatively on 24 Nov 2006, 7.30pm at COOS Auditorium. I will confirm with you again after the church has confirmed the date. Note that if we attend the Corporate Prayer, there will be no cell session on the following day (25 Nov), but you will be required to attend the youth service.

3. YOUTH MISSION TRIP IN DEC 2006

UrbanRace Ministry, together with Church's Missions Departiment, will be organising the youth mission trips in Dec 2006. Here are the latest updates on the trip details:

- East Timor (2 teams)
Date: 4-13 Dec
Estimated cost per head: $900
Type of ministry: school and church ministry in Maliana, Bobonaro District.

- Central Thailand (1 Team)
Date: 6-14 Dec (To Be Confirmed)
Estimated cost per head: $800
Type of ministry: English teaching and football (*need more guys in this team)

- Batam (1 Team)
Date: 8-11 Dec
Estimated cost per head: $200
Type of ministry: Orphanage and church ministry

- Nepal (1 Team)
Date: 5-14 Dec
Estimated cost per head: $1300
Leader: Ingrid Tham
Type of ministry: Children's ministry, small group ministry

- Philippines (Laoag City) (1 Team)
Dates: 6-13 Dec
Costs: $1,100
Type of ministry: Small group ministry, House to House visitation & ministry, mini crusades

All members are strongly encouraged to make it a point to go for a mission trip. Expect God to do great things in the lives of the people there and your life too.

Interested members who are keen to go, MUST take note of the following points:

A. All members, whether first timers or not, MUST attend the missions training, organised by Missions Dept.
- E-Timor teams: 11 Nov (Sat) 1-4pm
- Other teams: 18 Nov (Sat) 1-4pm
Failure to attend may render your trip application being revoked or disapproved.

B. Closing date : 5 Nov 2006

C. Pax per team: 4 to 10
