ANNOUNCEMENTS - 28 MAY TO 3 JUNE 2006

Hello all,

1. Those who have attended the youth service, please reflect on what Ps Glenn has said and discipline yourself to reading God's word regularly.

2. Cell Session on 3 JUNE 2006 is ON. We will start the pre-cell prayer at 3.30PM and cell session punctually at 4PM as there are no T2T ministry people occupying our room over the next few weeks.

3. PSLE MENTORING PROGRAMME - Those P6s who would like to participate in the PSLE MENTORING PROGRAMME from 22 to 24 June 2006 at New Town Primary School, you can collect the application forms from Michelle Jie-Jie or UR Admin Counter. This programme is opened to all other P6s non-believing friends too. If you have school or classmates who would like to join in, please pass them the form to fill up too. THE DATELINE TO SUBMIT THE FORM IS 3 JUNE 2006. If you need further enquiries, please contact Pauline Lau at the church office.

4. GLOBAL DAY OF PRAYER @ SINGAPORE - For those who did not sign up for the church camp, you are strongly encouraged to participate in this event on 4 June 2006 (Pentecost Sunday), 7.14pm at NATIONAL STADIUM. If you woud like to attend this at the cell level, please let me know LATEST BY 3 June 2006.

5. WEDDING INVITATION FROM JOSHUA KHOO AND SHARON LIN - Our cell has been cordially invited to celebrate this joyous ocassion with them. The details are as follow:

There will also be a lunch reception at 12.30pm. All members are encouraged to attend this wedding of our cell supervisor. If you are thinking of giving a love gift for the couple, a cash gift is appreciated. If majority of the cell members are going to turn up to support in full force, I may consider meeting up at a central location and proceed to SJSM church. I may also consider having a cell outing after the wedding (perhaps, to the youth rally .. see Item 7 below) until youth service at 6pm.

6. FIRE CONFERENCE SINGAPORE 2006
Date: 30 June and 1 July 2006 (Friday & Saturday)
Venue: Singapore Indoor Stadium.
Speaker: Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke.
There will be evening rallies on both evenings which are opened to public. Admission is FREE. You can encourage your parents to go with you. If your parents are not saved, this is an opportunity for you to bring them along.

7. FIRE CONFERENCE SINGAPORE 2006 - YOUTH RALLY
Date: 1 July 2006 (Saturday)
Time: 2.30pm to 4.30pm
Venue: Singapore Indoor Stadium
For who: All youth and youth at heart!
Speaker: Evangelist Pat Schatzline
If you have classmates, schoolmates or friends who have not heard of Jesus and will like to share with them the Good News, this is your opportunity to invite them to the rally. You may be their last hope to hear this Good News ... so don't give this opportunity a miss.

(PLEASE TAKE NOTE that Singapore Youth Festival 2006 Ceremony will be held on 1 JULY 2006 at National Stadium which will be filled with 60,000 students ... so be prepared to anticipate traffic jams and road closures if going to the Singapore Indoor Stadium).
