ANNOUNCEMENT - 8 JAN 2006 TO 15 JAN 2006

Hello everyone,

First and foremost, I would like to warmly welcome two new Assistant Cell Leaders to our P6/S1 cell group - GRACE ONG and MICHELLE LOH !!!!

*applause* *cheers...*

They will be joining us with effect from 14 Jan 2006. Please get to know them and befriend them when they join us.

Ok, here are the announcements for you to digest and take note ...

1. CELL GROUP on 14 JAN 06 will be held in Room 212 at 4pm. Nicholas will be leading the cell in praise and worship. Teachings on "Sermon on the Mount" will resume on that day.

Also, from 14 Jan 06 onwards, every member are requested to BRING YOUR BIBLE, A NOTEBOOK (you must start to learn to jot down cell notes and pointers) AND STATIONERIES for every cell session ... if any one fails to remember, I will have to implement a fine system .... to fine each member TWO dollars everytime for not bringing any ONE of the above for every meeting ... So, if you fail to bring bible and notebook, it will be FOUR dollars fine. All fines will be paid on the spot ... no IOU memo. If you fail to bring again the following week, you wlll be fined again that week. But trust me, I don't want to collect fines ... as such, please remember to bring the required items every week. If you do not have a notebook at home, please get one from a bookshop near your house or in school.

2. BAPTISM SERVICE - 6 of our cell members (Nicholas, Arie, Jonathan, Caleb Teo, Jian Quan and Sao Chuan) will be baptised this coming Sunday (15 JAN 06) at 5pm in the church sancturary. I would really like to strongly encourage all the other members to come and witness them going through this water baptism and give them your support. For Arie Chooi - I will need you to come for your baptism interview at 3.30pm on 14 Jan in Room 212. Your dad should have already reminded you on this and your trip report too. (Nic, no need to remind Arie again lar ... enough reminders for him already ... tk you for helping to call him up last week).

3. MRT CAMP - I will require, at least 2, but not more than 4, Sec 1 members to join the MRT Camp on 21 and 22 Jan 06. The camp will be held at GB Campsite in Upper Serangoon. Attendees may be required to stay overnight if there are sufficient beds. Interested members, please email or sms me your intention so I can get the MRT Camp Application Form on 14 Jan for you to complete.

4. Because of the MRT Camp, there will be NO cell group session on 21 Jan 06 as all the leaders will be required to go for the camp.

5. Also, there will be NO cell group on the Chinese New Year weekend.

6. CELL OUTING - I understand you would like to have another outing. No objections to that at all but it will be good to invite the new P6s for the outing and the organising to be done by cell members. You may want to consider organising one during the March school holidays.

7. This message is for Clarissa --- Hi Clarissa, not seen you coming to our cell group for a very very long time .... would you still be keen to join us this year? You are still considered as part of our group. :)

8. Also, let us welcome Sarah (who came last Saturday .... have I spelt the name correctly?) to our cell after one-year absence. Hope you will continue to join us every week. :)

9. Finally, Happy Birthday to Brenda Teo on 9 Jan 06.
